Sourcing deals in Europe and Funding from Korea/Asia

Over the last five years South Korea has been very active in the European property investment market. The list of acquisitions by Korean investors ranges from the London HQ of Goldman Sachs, the Squaire at Frankfurt International Airport and Lumiere in Paris at over 1Bn Euros. According to Savills, the latest data shows South Korean investment into European property rose 122% year-on-year in 2019 to €12.5billion, up from €5.6billon a year earlier.

Given continued demand for European real estate, members of our Clarges team were able to advise and close transactions in the UK and Europe. These include short term lending opportunities for home buyers/Developers and equity investment into government tenanted office buildings.
